Exploring the stories of silence - The Rambagh Palace, Jaipur
The Rambagh Palace-
There was nothing that I knew about 'The Rambagh Palace' before I went to visit it with my family in the January of 2012. The place is really charismatic, it grips you with its charisma and warmth as soon as you arrive there. The Rambagh Palace is the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur and now a luxury Taj Palace Hotel, located 5 miles (8.0 km) outside of the walls of the city of Jaipur on Bhawani Singh Road.
However, when I got to know that this was the palace of the beautiful and charismatic Maharani Gayatri Devi, I understood why I was so in awe of this palace. The grace, elegance and charisma of Maharani Gayatri Devi still haunts this place. This is my tribute to the greatest Maharani of all times ! Presenting the 'Rambagh Palace'.
